YETS Housing Pathways Program

In a crisis? Start with YETS Emergency Shelter.

Before you can plan for next week or next month, you need a safe space.  Our Youth Emergency Transisitional Shelter (YETS) remains our primary entry point for youth ages 18-24 in immediate need of housing. (subject to availability)

Food, Bed and basic needs.

Case management to start your journey with a team that cares.

Option A: Transitional Housing. Young adults focus on workforce and fiancial independence.

Located in the City of Houston near a Metro bus route.

Waiting List Opens February 20th.

Program fee: $650 per month. $150 of your fee is saved by BUTC and returned to you as "Launch funds" when you have completed the program and successfully move out.

Key Requirements:

Maintain employment

Weekly case management

Completion of our finanacila literacy program.

Background check required.

Option B: The UofH Co-Living House

Full time students currently enrolled at the University of Houston. Located near UofH or on a bus route. 

Waitlist opens April 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.

 Program fee: $600 per month

Key Requirements:

Proof of full time enrollment at UofH.

Commitment to academic success.

Case Management recommended.

Background check required.

Access to mental health therapy services, financial literacy, and optional case management to help you balance school, work and life.
